About The Founder
Lamees Abourahma founded Webbright [Consulting] in 2007 as South Carolina self proprietor company. After she moved with her family to Virginia, USA, she registered Webbright Services, LLC as a limited liability company with the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Ms. Abourahma holds a Bachelor of Science with honors from Saint Mary’s University, Halifax, Canada and a Master of Mathematics in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Canada. She studied under Professor J. Alan George, a well-known mathematician and former Dean of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo. Ms Abourahma worked for MITI Consulting (a small IT consulting firm) as well as Nortel Netoworks (one of the largest employers in Canada) before she moved to the United States and started the journey of entrepreneurialship.
Ms. Abourahma has been developing websites since 1999. She continues to improve her knowedge and skills through training and education. She recently completed certification in advanced search engine optimization (SEO), Inbound Marketing, and a 10-month business coaching with E-Myth wordwide. She is a member of The Venture Forum and the Better Business Bureau in Richmond, Virginia.
Ms Abourahma is always involved in community service. She served as a founding president of a local MOMS Club chapter in South Carolina. She was awarded the Sertoma Appreciation Award from Richland Sertoma Club for her outstanding and dedicated service. She has strong passion for knowledge, especially business and the Internet. She lives with her husband and their two little children in Midlothian, Virginia.
